Angel began producing coffee in a small farm of 1/8 hectares that was given to him by his father in the community of San Matias, department of La Paz. Married and with two sons, Angel saw in the coffee an opportunity a way to improve the life of his family and leave a legacy for the future, and with great effort, he managed to expand his production unit to about a hectare and renamed his farm, Las Moras.
His farm is at an elevation of 1800 meters above sea level, he has planted the variety Catuai, and he makes two fertilizations without neglecting the incorporation of organic fertilizers produced from the coffee pulp.
Angel Daniel says that the road to quality begins in picking only the ripe cherries and milling them on the same day and then wash them properly before putting them in the solar dryers.
His dream is to build a school in his community, and for the past 2 years, he offered his home as a school to serve 23 children in primary and 7 children in kindergarten, with one volunteer teacher.
